What opposition couldn't do in 15 years, BJP govt did in five, says Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis
GURUKUNJ MOZARI (AMRAVATI): Sounding poll bugle for the upcoming state assembly elections, CM Devendra Fadnavis launched Mahajanadesh Yatra from the samadhi sthal of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj here on Thursday.
Fadnavis said he was undertaking this yatra to seek a mega mandate in the upcoming polls because he considers people as his deity and he was accountable to them. "It is my duty to tell the people what I have done in last five years and seek their blessings for a second term," the CM said.

Fadnavis said what his government has achieved in five years, the opposition parties could not do it in 15 years when they were in power. He offered to quit electoral battle if the opposition parties proved him wrong.

Defence minister Rajnath Singh termed Fadnavis as a charismatic leader who lived up to the trust reposed in him by PM Modi. "Fadnavis has won your trust in these five years and will win your heart in the next five," he said.
