Sub-inspector Sanjay Gaikwad told TOI that the suspects had come to New Timber Market at Bhavani Peth with the stolen truck. “We laid a trap and took them into custody,” Gaikwad said. Gaikwad said that the police contacted the Valiv police station in Palghar and found that the duo had stolen the truck owned by one Vilas Shirke of Nalasopara.
