Symbiosis chair to honour R K Laxman

PUNE: S B Mujumdar, president and founder director of Symbiosis University, said that a chair in the name of renowned cartoonist R K Laxman will be instituted for journalism and media studies at Symbiosis as a special regard for his work. The announcement was made at the valedictory ceremony of the XIII National Seminar on hospital and healthcare management and medico-legal systems that concluded at Symbiosis International University in Lavale on Saturday.The seminar witnessed 970 delegates - comprising doctors, corporates and students - from all over India. The corporates who participated in the seminar simultaneously discussed successful models in healthcare and innovative measures.
