Strikers crowned champions

Pune: Subodh Lama’s two goals propelled Strikers FC to a 2-1 victory over DFA Mumbai and crowned them winners of the CMS Champions Cup 11-a-side state level football tournament at Madan Lal Dhingra stadium in Nigdi on Sunday. Forward Lama gave his side first half lead but Shahid Shaikh equalised for DFA Mumbai 10 minutes into the second half.
