Pune: The city crime branch arrested six suspects in cases of burglary and vehicles thefts. Police also seized gold ornaments, two cars, a motorcycle and six cell phones collectively worth Rs 5 lakh. The crime branch (unit-V) team arrested Sagar Bhalerao (18), his brother Akshay (18), Aditya Shinde (19), Rohit Rakshe (21), Shoaib Shaikh (18) all from Hadapsar and Gajanan Shinde (18) of Alandi. Assistant inspector of the crime branch Mahadev Waghmode received a tip-off about two men involved in burglaries at Kondhwa and Katraj, coming to a jewellery shop in Hadapsar. "We laid a trap and took Bhalerao and Shinde into custody," Yadav said. Bhalerao has 11 cases registered against him while Akshay has seven cases including murder and robbery against him, Yadav added.
