PIMPRI CHINCHWAD
: The civic body will appoint a private agency to implement its urban street vendor programme in the twin townships.
Pimpri Chinchwad municipal commissioner Shravan Hardikar has approved a proposal in this regard.
As part of the programme, The agency will compile a list of street vendors with their photographs and socioeconomic information, operating in different markets in all eight municipal zones, including weekly markets, night bazaars, seasonal markets, vending outlets and daily and seasonal markets, official said.
