Pune: An 18-year-old student jumped to his death from the fifth-floor terrace of a residential building in Panmala off Sinhagad Road on Tuesday morning, police said.
Senior inspector Abhay Mahajan of the Dattawadi police said, “Our team took the student to Sassoon, where he died in the afternoon. We registered an accidental death case. His family said he was disturbed, and on medication. He was receiving treatment at a hospital in Erandwane.”
Mahajan said, “The student and his parents stay in a first-floor flat in the building. Another resident saw him climbing the stairs alone.”
