Pune short film festival from October 29

The second edition of the Pune Short Film Festival (PSFF) will screen 53 short films from 10 countries. The festival will be held from October 29 to November 1, at the National Film Archive of India, Prabhat Road. Entry is free on first come first served basis.

PUNE: The second edition of the Pune Short Film Festival (PSFF) will screen 53 short films from 10 countries. The festival will be held from October 29 to November 1, at the National Film Archive of India, Prabhat Road. Entry is free on first come first served basis.
The festival will be inaugurated on October 29 at 11 am by producers Abhijeet Gholap, Meghraj Rajebhosale and actor Vikas Patil.

The prize distribution will be held on the last day of the festival at 1 pm. The awards will be handed over by directors Rajesh Pinjani and Satish Jakatdar.
Some of the Indian short films in the lineup include Bemata by Nina Subnani, Sonyacha Amba by Govinda Raju, Pirnarambha by Mayur Kadu, Meals Ready by Nithuna Nevil and Penalty by Magesh Kolleri.
Among the international short films are Jokeh (Squad) by Azad Mohammadi from Iran, The Devil by Jean-Gabriel Peniot from France, Zange Ensha (Composition Class) by Zanyar Azizi also from Iran, Breakfast by Wang Jing from Singapore, No White by Kevork Aslanyan from the United Kingdom and Welcome to Codpus (Welcome to Sofia) by Petra Georgiva from Bulgaria.
The 53 national and international films will be screened over four days. Of these 12 films are from Pune filmmakers while 14 films are international films.
