NEW DELHI: A non-cognisable (NC) case has been filed against the son of a Congress leader in Pune, Hemant Bagul, for allegedly slapping a motorcyclist following a minor collision with his car.
The incident occurred at a traffic signal in Mangalwar Peth on Tuesday.
According to police, a viral video shows the motorcyclist, Fayaz Sayyad, losing balance and brushing against Bagul's car after the door of one of the vehicles opened.
Sayyad alleges that Bagul verbally abused him and slapped him, while Bagul claims Sayyad threatened him. NC cases have been registered based on the complaints from both parties, according to Bundgarden police officials.
