PUNE: On the death anniversary of Padma Vibhushan Ratan Tata (1937–2024), and jointly upheld their social commitment by distributing essential food grains to in Shere village, near Pirangut, on the occasion of Diwali.
About 15 families received grocery kits containing staples sufficient for nearly four months — bringing festive joy and relief to the local tribal community.
Rahul Narute, Managing Director of Asian Machine Tool Corporation, said in a statement: "Since 2012, we have celebrated our company’s foundation day through social-welfare activities. From this year onward, we have resolved to undertake such community initiatives every year on October 9 in memory of Ratan Tata Sir, whose values continue to inspire us.”
The event was attended by Associate Directors Hemant Sonar, Sunil Kabade, Jagdish Shelke, Shankar Pandhare, Deepak Manthan, Shubham Gayke, Rupesh Sathe, Aniket Aher, Rakesh Gawde, and Madhavi Modi, along with Manoj Dhamale, Rupesh Jadhav, and Mauli Gole from Shere village.
The villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude toward Asian Machine Tool Corporation for their continued compassion.
Speaking on the occasion, dignitaries remarked that “Asian Machine Tool Corporation has achieved remarkable progress in the field of marking and traceability, while consistently demonstrating strong social responsibility alongside industrial growth.”
During the program, Managing Director Rahul Narute, Director Hemant Sonar, and Chief Accountant Jagdish Shelke were felicitated with a shawl and coconut as a token of honor and appreciation, added the statement.
