PUNE: Some parts of the city in the Rasta Peth, Shivajinagar, Bund Garden and Ahmednagar road division of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (
MSEDCL) will have to face load-shedding in a staggered manner for some duration over the next two days. This is due to the breakdown of a 50 MVA transformer of the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited’s (MSETCL) extra high voltage Khadki sub-station.
The power will be supplied to areas in Kasba Peth, Laxmi Road, Gadital and Narpatgiri Chowk through alternative sources.
Areas to be affected are Tadiwala Road, Brahma Bajaj, Sangamwadi, Ram society, Ambedkarnagar, Phulenagar, Pratiknagar, Mohanwadi, Kamgarnagar, Panchsheelnagar, Sai park, Vishrantwadi, Maskevasti, Bund Garden, Wadia college, Atul park, Dhole Patil Road, Guruprasad society, Sun n Sand, Ashok mall, Le Meridien, Pune Central, Khadki, Dapodi, IT park and Wakdewadi.
