Pune: Deputy commissioner of police (Cyber) Bhagyashri Navatake and her team on Tuesday filed a 3,955-page chargesheet before Judicial Magistrate (First Class) Shraddha Dolare against 15 people arrested in the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) 2019 malpractice case.
All the suspects arrested so far in the TET malpractice case —

Tukaram Supe

, then serving commissioner of Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), IAS officer

Sushil Khodwekar

, consultant to state education director Abhishekh Savarikar, GA Software company’s director Pritish Deshmukh, and agents Ankush Harkal, Santosh Halkar, Ajay Chavan, Krushna Jadhav, Ankit Chankhore,

Sunil Gholap

, Manoj Dongare, Suranjit Patil, Swapnil Patil, Rajendra Salunke and Mukund Suryavanshi — were named in the chargesheet.
The police have also named 12 more persons in the case and a search to arrest them is on.
The police said the arrested people had first manipulated the final results of 293 candidates, who could nor clear the TET examinations.
Further probe revealed that the arrested men had changed the results of 7,880 candidates, who had secured very less marks in the examinations.
Their marks were enhanced in lieu of charges ranging between Rs50,000 and Rs60,000 and they were declared eligible.
The police said it was a well-planned racket, as all the arrested persons were linked to each other.
The investigation also revealed that as many as 16,592 candidates were declared eligible during the TET examinations.
