PIFF to be held from Feb 2 to 9 at three venues

Pune: The 21st Pune International Film Festival, organized by the Pune Film Foundation and the government of Maharashtra, will be held between February 2 and 9 in three venues — PVR Icon, Pavillion Mall on SB Road, Inox on Bund Garden Road and National Film Archives of India on Law College Road.
Online registration to participate in the event will start on January 5 on the official website www.piffindia.com, while spot registrations will be available at all three venues from January 19.Festival director of PIFF, Jabbar Patel, announced that this edition of the festival received 1,574 entries from 72 countries, out of which 140 movies will be screened.
Patel said, “PIFF was recognized by Cannes Film Festival as it has been growing quality-wise. This year, we have a large number of films in the A+ grade.”
