PUNE: Once again in the city, a man allegedly

torched

for allegedly setting ablaze a motorcycle owned by Sachin Kasbe (33) of Ghorpaid. Both complainant Kasbe and Jadhav are neighbours, police said.

According to police, the incident took place at around 4.30 am on Monday at Vikasnagar. Kasbe lodged a complaint with the police saying that the local residents gathered on Sunday night for a ceremony and ‘Prasad’ was served to all. The local residents played music and danced for a while. While dancing, Kasbe and Jadhav picked up a brawl with each other over a trivial issue.

However, local residents intervened and resolved the dispute. Later in the night, Kasbe parked his motorcycle near his residence and slept. Police said that Jadhav was annoyed with Kasbe over the issue and decided to take revenge. He then set allegedly set ablaze Kasbe’s motorcycle with the help of a burning curtain cloth. were gutted. Later, it was revealed that a local resident had set ablaze a two wheeler to take revenge of a brawl and while doing so, other vehicles caught fire.
