The inauguration was to be done by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

In the letter, he has alleged that the work of drainage pipeline, water supply, sound system and fire-fighting system need to be completed. Also officials and employees have not been appointed for the auditorium. The auditorium building does not have a completion certificate. There is no adequate provision for water supply and toilets for people who will visit the auditorium.

The testing of fire-fighting system is yet to be completed and will require a week. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party was in a hurry to inaugurate civic projects after coming to power.

The standing committee on Thursday approved a resolution for installing sound system at the auditorium at a cost of Rs 85.99 lakh.
