The centralised admission process (CAP) committee has also announced another round on first-come-first-serve (FCFS) basis after the admissions connected to the special round have been confirmed. The vacancy for FCFS will be announced on August 20.

After the mandatory three rounds, the CAP committee decided to fill up vacant seats through two more rounds, of which the special round admissions were allotted. The most number of seats were allotted in the Commerce faculty.

CAP committee chairman Minakshi Raut said, “A total of 20,000 applications were received by the CAP committee for the special round and 14,000 students were given allotments. Once the students confirm admissions, a new vacancy list will be announced and the FCFS round would be implemented.”

The admission is being conducted across 296 colleges in Pune’s 741 divisions. The students, who apply for FCFS round, would be categorised based on their percentage. The first category would include students, who have scored above 80% in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC, Std X) examination. The students, who scored over 60% marks in SSC, will make up the second category. The third category will be for students who aren’t included in the first two categories.
