Moraya Gosavi festival till Dec 23 in Chinchwadgaon

PUNE: The Chinchwad Devasthan Trust has organized the 452nd Moraya Gosavi Sanjeevan Samadhi Mahotsav from December 12 to 23 at the temple grounds in Chinchwadgaon.
Swami Jayendra Saraswati, Shankaracharaya of Kanchi Kamkotipeetham will inaugurate the festival on Thursday. Moraya Gosavi Charitra Pathan week will be celebrated till December 18 through lectures by Kishore Vyas.Pandit Rajan and Sajan Mishra will perform on December 20 and Pandit Shivkumar Sharma will play on December 22,
A free cancer check-up camp for women on December 20, a blood donation drive on December 21 and 22 and a dental camp on December 22 where free medicines will be distributed have been organized. The Moraya Jeevan Gaurav and other 10 awards will be presented to the winners on December 22.
