Meet to mark Baghdad saint's 'urs'

PUNE: Members of the Ahle Sunnat Jamaat have organised an Azmate Auliya Conference to mark the 'urs' of Hazrat Sayyed Abdul Qadir Jilani, the saint whose tomb is in Baghdad.
Religious scholar Maulana Idris Raza Khan Hashmati from Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to deliver a lecture on the life of Sayyed Abdul Qadir Jilani at 7 pm onwards at the Omkar garden in Kondhwa on Saturday.The Maulana will also deliver lectures at Raza mohalla at Shirur on Sunday at 8.30 pm and at Husseini masjid, Kotla maidan, Ahmednagar, on Monday from 7 pm onwards.
