PUNE
: Some South bound trains going from Pune
will be diverted due to the commissioning of a double line between Tadilpatri-Raulacheurvu
section of Guntakal
division of Southern Railway. The commissioning of the double line will be from January 27 to February 8. According to an official press release issued by the Pune division of the Central Railway, the following trains will be diverted.
Train number 16381 from CSTM Mumbai to Kanyakumari will be diverted via Gooty-Dharmavaram-Benguluru for a period of 13 days from January 27 to February 8.
Train number 16382 from Kanyakumari to CSTM Mumbai will also be diverted via Benguluru Dharmavaram Gooty for a period of 13 days between January 27 to February 8.
Another train number 16351 between CSTM Mumbai to Nagercoil Balaji express will be diverted via Gooty Dharmavaram Pakala Junction Tirupati and Renigunta on January 29 , February 2, and February 5 (trains leaving Mumbai on the mentioned dates).
Train number 16352 Nagercoil-CSTM Mumbai Balaji express will be diverted via Tirupati Pakala Junction Dharmavaram Gooty on January 31, February 3, and February 7 (trains leaving Nagercoil on the mentioned dates). The railways have appealed passengers to make note of the changes and plan their travel accordingly. Incidentally, the South Central Railway has also partially cancelled some trains due to the rail work.
