PUNE: The deputy director of education, Pune division, announced a revised schedule for first year junior college (FYJC) admission. Students who scored 35% and above in their Class X examinations can opt for admission on Tuesday on a first-come, first-served basis.
The special first-come-first-served (FCFS) round will be the last option for students to get admission in FYJC in Pune.
The students who scored 60% and above in their Std X examinations can approach the allotted colleges for admissions till 1pm on Monday, on a first-come-first-served basis. The vacancy list in colleges will be announced for the third category students on Monday at 5pm.
The students who don’t come under this category — 35% and above — can opt for FCFS admissions on Tuesday. The students who have been allotted colleges can confirm their admission by going to the college between Tuesday and 1pm on Wednesday.
The overall vacancy list for FYJC will be announced on Wednesday at 5pm.
