Kothrud warms up to fitness and fun on a cold Sunday morning
PUNE: Thousands of people attended the second episode of Happy Streets in Kothrud on a cold Sunday morning.

The city-based Folk Fitness debuted at the season with their folk dance session. “The crowd was enthusiastic and the response was very good. It is nice to see so many energetic people coming together on a Sunday morning,” Tejal Pansare of Folk Fitness said.

“The children seem very inquisitive and want to know more about how robots are made and their connection to smartphones. This shows that fun and education go hand-in-hand,” founder of Robotronics Rupeshri Gurave said.
“I love the carnival-like mood. Usually the road is so crowded that we feel the space is insufficient but now that the vehicles are banned I have realised how spacious the roads are,” a resident of Kothrud, Rajeev Patil, said.

said, “I have attended several Happy Streets before and I can say that it is just getting better. Before there was just Zumba, cycling and yoga but now there are so many other things added. caps to go with the festive season. They hosted karaoke sessions that were well received by the citizens. The sports arena was dominated by games such as football and volleyball. People were also seen playing badminton.
