Islamic scholars in city today

pune: jamiya ghausiya, a religious institution, will organise a religious conference at kanyadan mangal karyalaya, hadapsar, at 8 p.m. on october 29-30. hazrat sibtain raza khan, known as amin-e-shariat (protector of shariah) among lakhs of followers worldwide, will preside over the function, while hazrat anwar ashraf musanna miya will be the chief guest.religious leaders, including maulana salman raza khan and mukhtar ahmed behri, are scheduled to give discourses. noted urdu poet ajmal sultanpuri will also attend the function. minister of state for public works balasaheb shiwarkar, yashwant sugar factory director suresh ghule and sasanenagar sarpanch dattoba sasane are among other dignitaries scheduled to attend the concluding session of the conference on october 30, said maulana shakir adil, president of jamiya ghausia.
