Inter-school dance competition at SNBP

PUNE: SNBP School and College, Yerawada, organised an inter-school competition, titled, "Dance 2 Advance- Dancing Feet of SNBP", for SNBP institutes recently at the Morwadi branch.
The chief guests for the event were D K Bhosale, chairman, and Vrishali Bhosale, president of SNBP Educational Institutes.
The preliminary rounds had students from the five branches - Pimpri, Rahatani, Moshi, Wagholi, Chikhli, and Yerawada.Bollywood choreographers Akash Shetty, Subhash Dang and Sanjay Sawant were judges for the event.
The competition was held in group and solo categories. The first prize between Standard V to VII was bagged by SNBP International School, Chikhli, followed by SNBP International School, Rahatani, at the second position. Among Std VIII to XI, SNBP, Morwadi (state), Chikhli and Yerawada branches bagged the first, second and third prizes respectively.
In the solo dance competition, the winners were SNBP, Morwadi (Std I to IV), SNBP International School, Rahatani (Std V to VII) and SNBP School and Junior College, Yerawada (Std VIII to XI).
The school also organised an intra-school singing competition, titled, "Rising Star Voice of SNBP" recently. Students from all the five branches had participated in the competition. The judges were playback singers, Yogita Godbole and Mangesh Borgaonkar. The competitions were held in group and solo singing categories. The first and second prize in the group singing competition was bagged by SNBP International School, Rahatani (CBSE branch).
CM school cultivates miniature gardens
CM International School chose the theme "window gardening" for National Science Day celebrations recently.
The students sowed the seeds of different plants and observed the germination period, plant size, number of leaves grown among others.
