Health expo from Jan 2

PUNE: The Rotary Club of Pune South has organised the Ayurveda Homoeo Health Expo 2003 at the Ganesh Kala Krida Manch from January 2 to 5. Vicco Laboratories chairman Gajanan Pendharkar will be felicitated on the occasion for propagating Ayurveda, while the keynote address will be delivered by Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat founder Bindumadhav Joshi.
M.N.Rajhansa, project chairman of the expo, said information booths and stalls selling Ayurvedic products will be put up in addition to a special pavilion selling herbal plants. A lecture series has been planned at the Summit hall in Nehru stadium. Anant Dharmadhikari, director of health (Ayurveda) of the Maharashtra government, will inaugurate the lecture series while Subhash Salunkhe, director-general of health services, will address the valedictory session.
Speakers comprise of B.Y. Khadiwale, Bhushan Patwardhan, Pradeep Sethia, Dipti Desai, P.H. Kulkarni and others.
