PUNE: The Blue Ridge Public School (BRPS) recently organized a group reading contest on the occasion of National Reading Day to reinstate the value of reading among students.
Around 80 participants in 26 groups participated in the contest, which was held via a webinar. It had two categories— Group A was for students and Group B for parents and teachers and their families.

Sarika Kshirsagar
, a corporate soft skills trainer.
The webinar was hosted by Smita Kshirsagar, principal, BRPS along with the coordinator of the event, Pallavi Dhamdhere, senior librarian with the technical support extended by Kavita Hegde, coordinator (class IX) and IT head.
One of the winners of Group B category said, “The brilliant idea of conducting a virtual online reading competition brought a lot of excitement and thrill in my family as we decided to participate and read out a story of our choice together as one family.”
