PUNE: Pune’s Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust is celebrating its 125th year and supporting the prestigious milestone is Finolex Industries. It is distributing books on aarti collection to various mandals in Pune, Ratnagiri and Udgir.
Nitin Kulkarni, president sales and marketing of the company said, “Ganeshotsav, the public Ganesh festival is celebrating the 125th year in India this year.
This year is also the 125th year for Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Trust, the mandal which created and popularized this festival in India. This is an important milestone in Pune and Maharashtra’s history and we are proud to be associated with this festival’’.
Besides Pune, the company is participating in Ganeshotsav at Indapur, Udgir and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra and Ankaleshwar, Vadodara and Surat in Gujarat. The company has a strong corporate social responsibility presence with its partner Mukul Madhav Foundation which works in the areas of healthcare, education and social collaboration for improving standard of living. Their work in the Satara district for helping children suffering from cerebral palsy received admiration from the society.

During those times, the secret meetings of the revolutionaries were always held in the Bhau Rangari’s house. He was an Ayurvedic doctor and never charged any fee from his patients. He got the title Rangari (Painter) as he was in the profession of coloring the shalu saris. It indeed is an emotional and proud moment for us at the trust to be celebrating the 125th year of the Bahusaheb Ranagari Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav.”
