PUNE: Harshitha Shetty, a student of Fergusson College, has topped the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) for health science courses. Biology was the only subject in which she lost a mark, else she would have scored a perfect 200 in the exam.
Harshitha, who scored 96.77 % in the HSC exam and emerged second in the college, said she was disappointed that she lost a mark.
Around 20% of the 1.89 lakh students who appeared for the MH-CET this year have qualified for admissions in medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra, 15% up from last year’s 5.06%.
