PUNE: As part of the city-based Film and Television Institute of India’s golden jubilee celebrations, an exhibition of contemporary painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation art is being organised at the FTII campus from January 14 to 17.
Entitled ‘New Focus,’ the exhibition will be curated by Geetha Mehra from the Mumbai-based Sakshi gallery.
Works by renowned artists, such as Nilima Sheikh, Atul Dodiya, Ranbir Singh Kaleka, Chang Keng Hau Chang, Geng Hwa, Shilpa Gutpa, Jitish Kallat, Gregory Crewdson and Sunil Gawde, Nandini Valli Muthiah, Chintan Upadhyay, Valai Shende, Kartik Sood, Gigi Scaria, Manjunath Kamath, Navin Rawanchaikul, Priyanka Das Gupta, Sumedh Rajendran, Shine Shivan, Sheba Chhachhi, Rohini Devasher and Riyas Komu will be on display.
It will be open to the public from January 15 to 17, between 11 am and 7 pm.
