Samarth police have requested the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) to take over the case of forged and fabricated NOCs)issued to many secondary schools and junior colleges, affiliated to CBSE, for enabling them to function in the state.
DCP (Zone I) Sandeep Singh Gill said, “The case is spread over a huge geographical area. Hence, we have requested EOW to take it over.” Senior inspector Ramesh Sathe of the Samarth police said, “We have found that six such secondary schools and junior colleges are operating in the city and other parts of the district.” tnn
