Dual win for Dastur Hormazdiar High School in handball tournament
Pune: In a dual win for Sardar Dastur Hormazdiar High School, the under-14 boys’ and girls’ teams won the inter-school handball tournament league, which was organized by the Hindustan Antibiotic School, Pimpri.
The school received a trophy and each player got a gold medal. Himanshu Sharma was the ‘best player’ and Khushi Poker was the ‘best goalkeeper’.
GlIS smart campuses host Global Li’l Star 2019
Smart campuses of Global Indian International School recently hosted the inter-school competition Global Li’l Star 2019 at their Hadapsar and Balewadi campuses. Rajiv Bansal, director of operations at GIIS India, said, “Our nine gems framework aims to encourage holistic development of students and Global Li’l Star is a step forward in that direction.”
The competitions included various activities such as clay modelling, storytelling, group dance, art and craft.
City International School, Kothrud, stages annual day
The annual gathering of City International School, Kothrud, ‘Bouquet of Values’ was recently held at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch. It revolved around virtues and moral values, emphasizing on those advocated by Mahatma Gandhi.
School toppers were warded medals and trophies. It was followed by a presentation of the annual report 2019-20. The events included students from Nursery to Std X participating in music, dance and dramas based on the classics of Leo Tolstoy, Valerie Flournoy. The show ended with a special performance by senior students.
