Digvijay hits 152 in Cooch Behar

Pune: Digivijay Patil scored a chanceless 152 after Maharashtra were put in to bat by Assam on the opening day of the four-day Cooch Behar Trophy (U-19) match at Gahunje. However, the hosts were all out for 277 in 71.4 overs. Assam responded with 30-0 at stumps.
Batting a No. 3, Digvijay had three decent partnerships: 51-run for the fourth wicket with Sahil Autade (36), 73-run for the fifth wicket with Krish Shahpurkar and 66-run for the eighth wicket with Prathamesh Gawade.Digvijay’s share was of 59 runs in the last-mentioned stand.
