Pune: A literature conclave was organised by DAV Public School, Pune, on June 11 at the APJ Abdul Kalam Auditorium by unveiling of the book ‘Let Them Fly’ written by Nisha Peshin, the director of the Public Schools of DAVCMC.
The event highlighted panel discussions on the language and literature of access to success, infrastructure and partnership. Students, parents and teachers elaborated the aspects of the book which helped understand the purpose of writing it.
Peshin, along with representatives of the student, parent and teaching fraternities, hosted a separate session where the book was discussed. She advised the teachers to keep a broad outlook while dealing with students and allow them to flourish.
All sessions were enriching. The concept of enhanced libraries, human libraries and ideal libraries was discussed. The entire programme was seasoned with beautiful cultural presentations. There was a prayer dance and finale dance by the students, mesmerising recitals by Aditya Bhave and Gaurang Pandit, a dance performance by Vani Sharma and Kinjal Parekh.
The fusion band presentation by the alumni Saurabh Gulavni (tabla), Harsh Parate (guitar), Supreeta (sitar) and Amit Devkate (harmonium), kept the audience delighted.
