PUNE: The Bund Garden police raided a cyber cafe on Monday and seized four computers which allegedly had pornographic movies stored in them.
The two men who were in charge of the cafe, however, managed to escape. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided Kashish communication cyber cafe at Ashok Mall, Bund Garden road on Monday around 7 am.
The cafe was allegedly screening a pornographic movie and charging money for it.
Four computers worth Rs 66,000 were confiscated by the police, who added that the two persons in charge of the cyber cafe had run away as soon as they realised that the police had raided it.
One of the two persons has been identified as Jaykant Iyer, while the second was yet to be identified.
The police said they still had to ascertain whether the two were the owners of the cyber cafe or merely in charge of it.
