City Pride student wins gold medal in national skills event
Pune: Saanvi Bhake of City Pride School, Nigdi, Pune won the gold medal at the CBSE national level Junior Skills Championship.
The event was held in New Delhi by the ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship, and National Skill Development Corporation to recognise 21st century skills in students.
Over three lakh students from schools across the country participated in various categories, including digital photography.

The four rounds included a written test and project presentation.
Saanvi Bhake won the gold medal with a cash prize of Rs 50,000. The felicitation ceremony was held at The Indian Habitat centre, New Delhi, on April 2.
Saanvi will now get to observe and witness the world skills competition in China. She received the prize from Atul Kumar Tiwari , additional secretary, ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship, in the presence of Biswajit Saha, director of training and skill education, CBSE.
