Centre of excellence opens at CoEP Tech Univ

Pune: The R Vasudevan Centre of Research & Development was inaugurated at the CoEP Technological University on Friday. The newly established centre of excellence aims to strengthen academic research with industry-led innovation.
It has been constructed by Vascon Engineers within a designated area on the CoEP campus — covering a total built-up area of 18,000sqft. The facility will support research, testing and deployment of technologies relevant to construction, real estate and infrastructure sectors. The centre will enable live technology demonstrations, pilot projects, academic–industry workshops, research collaboration and knowledge exchange. It will provide students, faculty and researchers exposure to real-world applications and current industry practices — strengthening the link between research and implementation. The platform is expected to bring together developers, architects, EPC companies, engineers, consultants, academia, urban planners and govt stakeholders.The centre will focus on areas such as sustainable and prefabricated building materials, advanced construction technologies, robotics and modular systems, smart infrastructure, energy and water management solutions, BIM and digital site tools, automation, analytics and green building practices.
