Amol Kale, main accused of Gauri Lankesh Murder case and mastermind of Narendra Dabholkar Killing.

CBI secured custody of Kale, one of the conspirators in the

murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh

from Bengaluru central prison. He was flown to Mumbai from Bengaluru. He was produced before a magisterial court here amid tight security for seeking in custodial remand. Kale will remain in CBI custody till September 14. Kale is the second main conspirator after ENT doctor Virendrasinh Tawde who was earlier arrested by the CBI. Kale and others had successfully executed the murder of Dabholkar following which he was given the responsibility to conspire the murder of Lankesh in Karnataka.


Dabholkar was shot dead on Vitthal Ramji Shinde bridge on August 20, 2013.
