has sanctioned funds for the cantonment boards for the first time through the finance commission, giving a new income source to them.

The 15th finance commission
has sanctioned Rs1.05 crore to the
KCB
. The
Pune Cantonment Board
has been sanctioned Rs1.06 crore, while the Dehu Road Cantonment Board has been sanctioned Rs 84.16 lakh."
