A video of a Royal Enfield Bullet bursting into flames on the streets of Pune's Keshav Nagar surprised netizens and went viral on social media.
It is believed that the black bike caught fire due to the intense heat.
A water tanker passing by came to the rescue and extinguished the fire to prevent further losses.
The video shows a man also helping to pour buckets of water to douse the fire.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported in the incident.
A similar incident occurred weeks ago when an electric bike battery exploded while charging, causing a fire in a house in Surat.
The incident raised tension among e-bike users.

One user said,"Do not full the tank completely of any vehicle in summer season it creates pressure due to vapours."
