BJP leaders meet Scindia

Pune: A delegation of BJP leaders, including Prakash Javdekar, Pune mayor Murlidhar Mohol and Shivajinagar MLA Siddharth Shirole, met civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in Delhi on Thursday, requesting him to consider Purandar as the site for the proposed airport and help in the expansion of the Lohegaon airport.
“We told him that since the new site proposed by the present state government has been rejected, the proposed airport should come up at the old Purandar site.The discussion has been fruitful.” Shirole said after the meeting. -Joy.Sengupta
