Baramati man shot at over old rivalry

Pune: A 30-year-old man from Baramati suffered bullet injuries to his stomach after being shot at on Bhigwan Road near Baramati on Thursday night.The victim, Ganesh Jadhav of Tandulwadi in Baramati taluka, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Baramati, the Pune Rural police said, while suspecting the involvement of a criminal on police records in the attack. “Prima facie probe revealed that Jadhav was attacked following an old rivalry,” said an officer from the Pune Rural police.The officer said the doctors have told us that the bullet got stuck into Jadhav’s body. “His condition is stable,” he said.
