Pune: Citizens living in the Khadki and Dehu Road Cantonment board areas will get ayurvedic medical treatment from general hospitals from May 1.
The defence ministry will provide facilities at 37 cantonments. Pramod Kumar Singh, chief executive officer of the Khadki Cantonment Board, said a section at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar General Hospital would be soon converted into an ayurvedic centre.

“We will provide medicines, doctors, pharmacists and medical staffers from the ministry,” he said.
