Australian cricket team watches Lion

The Australian cricket team, which is in India for the ongoing test series, recently had some time to unwind and they made the most of it.
The team attended a special screening of the Oscar-nominated movie 'Lion' in Mumbai before heading to Pune, where they will play the first test match against the Virat Kohli-led Indian team.

'Lion' is produced by a global collaborative team of Australian, UK and American producers and directed by Garth Davis.It revolves around how a young boy, separated from his birth mother, lands up with Australian parents and then tracks down his birth mother using Google Earth.

'Lion' features a lot of Indian faces including Dev patel, Sunny Pawar, Abhishek Bharate and Priyanka Bose, apart from Nicole Kidman.

It has been shot extensively across India, especially Madhya Pradesh, and is currently in contention for the Academy Awards race.
