Pune: The schedule for admission to the first year of junior college (FYJC) in the state will be declared on Monday, Mahesh Palkar, director of secondary and higher secondary education, said on Friday.
Students who passed Std X from Central Board of Secondary Education will get five days to fill up both parts 1 and 2 of the form.
Part II of the form was opened for students on Friday without any last date for the submission.
It was initially decided that once the
CBSE announces its Std X results, adequate time will be given to the students to fill up parts I and II of the form and submit their applications for FYJC.
On Friday, CBSE announced its Std X and XII results, paving the way for the admission rounds.
Palkar who is in charge of the centralized admission process (CAP), said, “We were waiting for CBSE to release its Std X results as we did not want some students to be left out of the FYJC admission process. Now that it has released the results, we will be declaring the next schedule of the FYJC admissions on Monday for the state. Students who have not yet filled up the part of the form will get a minimum of five days to fill both parts I and II of the application form. The allotment list and other processes will follow later and the schedule will contain all the relevant dates.”
The cut-off data of three rounds in the previous year has already been uploaded on the FYJC official website and the students are requested to check their Std X scores, the cut-off marks of the college and stream of their choice and then fill in their preference form, Meena Shendkar, assistant director of education, Pune division.
