About 50 lakh adults due for precaution shot in Pune

PUNE: Around 50 lakh adults from the district would be due for the precaution dose on July 15, when the Union government’s free third shot drive would start.

A report from the state public health services stated that around 37.5 lakh from the 18-44 age group and 12.91 lakh from the 45-59 age group would be due for it. Suryakant Devkar, chief immunisation officer, PMC, said around 39,000 doses were in stock.
