457th Moraya Gosavi festival from tomorrow

Pimpri Chinchwad: The 457th Moraya Gosavi Sanjeevan Samadhi Mahotsav will be held from December 17 to 27 at Moraya Gosavi Samadhi Ground in Chinchwadgaon.

The event will include lectures, religious discourses, a blood donation camp, a health and eye check-up camp, award distribution, among others. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and Chincwhad Devasthan Trust have jointly organized the event.

Mandar Dev Maharaj, the chief trustee of Chinchwad Devasthan Trust, said, “The performances of renowned singer Salil Kulkarni, poet Sandeep Khare and Rakesh Chaurasia, are the main attractions of this mahotsav. The founder of ‘Apla Ghar’ Vijay Phalnikar will be given the Moraya lifetime achievement award.”
