As many as 25 police personnel from Pune will be conferred with the annual state level awards (Director General Awards) for their remarkable performance.
PUNE: As many as 25 police personnel from Pune will be conferred with the annual state level awards (Director General Awards) for their remarkable performance. According to a press note, the awards, constituted by the state home department, would be presented at a function scheduled at the police head quarters, Shivajinagar, on May 1. The senior officials who are selected for these awards are: additional commissioner of police Prabhat Kumar, deputy commissioners of police Anil Kumbhare, Rajendra Dahale, Anant Rokade and additional superintendent of police Suresh Kamalakar.
Other officers are inspectors Shirpati Gawade and Vijaykumar Palsule; assistant sub-inspectors Sakharam Desai, Vijay Rajapure, Jalil Kazi, Uday Naik, Mahadev Kadam and Ashok Jadhav; and assistant inspector Bhagvan Patil.
Other awardees are havaldars Suresh Kadam, Rajedra Pohare, Rajendra Pawar, Subhash Ranvare, Mohan Lawande; police naiks Madhukar Ranpise, Bhagavan Rakshe, Suresh Shinde, Pradip Jambhale; and constables (sepoy) Avinash Shevale and Raviraj Kokare.
