PUNE: Over 250 students will undergo hands-on training in dental implant during the two-day summit that will start on Saturday.
Implantology is a super-specialised branch in dentistry, which is not taught in detail in dental colleges and awaits for proper platform. The summit aims to bridge this gap.
Dental Implant Care Foundation (DICF), an organisation working on upgrading dental implantology, will conduct the summit, Youthasia, in association with Sinhgad Dental College. “The students and practitioners can opt for careers in dental implants after attending the summit,” implantologist Mohit zamad, DICF founder-president, said.
The conference is exclusively for the beginners of implantology to undergo scientific orientation. Implantologists, including Nitin Vaidya (
Raipur
), Dhruv Arora ( New Delhi ), Sujit Bopardikar (Mumbai), Vipin Sood (New Delhi), Venkat Nag (Hyderabad) and Aakanksha Zamad (Nagpur), will guide the participants.
“This summit will benefit students who are pursuing bachelor or master degree in dental surgery,” Zamad said.
