Pimpri Chinchwad: An exhibition called 'Know your Army' will allow residents to watch a the display of military weapons and equipment. Such an event is being held in Khadki for the first time.
Jointly organized by Bombay Engineering Group(BEG) and centre, College of Military Engineering(CME), 330 Infantry brigade, CAFVD and Khadki Cantonment Board(KCB), the exhibition will begin of Sunday at 11 am, at CAFVD stadium, opposite Khadki Railway station along Pune-Mumbai highway
Amol Jagtap, chief executive officer(CEO), KCB said, "Senior defence officials will inaugurate the exhibition in presence of children from the cantonment board schools and Kendriya Vidyalaya, BEG on Sunday at 11 am. The event is open for all the school students of Khadki and nearby area, their parents and the general public."
Tanks, infantry combat vehicles, bridging equipment, mine laying devices, mine clearing equipment, communication equipment, modern exchanges, rifles, light machine guns/ medium machine guns, rocket launchers, night vision devices, mortars, sniper rifles, air defence guns and air defence radars will be displayed at the event.
