Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar is chancellor of Pondicherry University

PUDUCHERRY: Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar will be ex-officio chancellor of Pondicherry University after statute 1 (1) of the Pondicherry University Act was modified through a gazette notification and published on December 5.

Dhankhar would be the chancellor of Pondicherry University with effect from December 5, said registrar (in charge) Rajneesh Bhutani in a release.
