PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry lieutenant governor Kiran Bedi and chief minister V Narayanasamy lauded India's airstrike on

terror camps

in Pakistan on Tuesday.

Bedi tweeted that the air strike was meant to establish peace and to display the country’s respect for the soldiers who were killed in suicide terror attack in Pulwama in Kashmir on February 14.

"India #Strikeback in its first against terror. Watch #breakingnews Time to close ranks. #IndiaFirst. A Strike for Peace and Respect for Life," Bedi Tweeted.

Narayanasamy in a tweet said, "I salute our Indian Air Force for their attack on terrorist camp near JK. Country is proud of you. "
